The following general terms and conditions shall apply as regulations for the rental of LOCKER IN THE CORNER LOCKERS lockers. These conditions govern the relationship between LOCKER IN THE CORNER and the user who contracts the service.

Lockers
LOCKER IN THE CORNER offers clients the possibility to rent any of its lockers for full calendar days.
LOCKER IN THE CORNER There are two types of lockers available:

• – Medium lockers (M): Dimensions: 398 mm (height) x 409 mm (width) x 570 mm (depth). Suitable for approximately 1 cabin suitcase and a backpack or 2 cabin suitcases.
• – Extra-large lockers (XL): Dimensions: 841 mm (height) x 409 mm (width) x 570 mm (depth). Suitable for approximately: 1 extra-large suitcase, or 1 large suitcase and a backpack, or 3 carry-on bags and a backpack.

– Users may store any items they wish inside the lockers, as long as they do not exceed the specified dimensions, to avoid damaging the locker or impairing its proper function.
– Lockers can be rented for a minimum of 1 calendar day (from 00:00h to 23:59h) and a maximum of 30 calendar days.
During this rental period, the user can access their belongings as often as desired, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Price

The price for each locker is stated on the website at the time of booking. All prices include VAT and refer to a rental period of one full calendar day.
Prices may be adjusted based on market conditions and operational needs

Operation
The requirements for renting a locker at LOCKER IN THE CORNER are as follows:

• – Be at least 16 years old.
• – Correctly and truthfully complete all required fields in the RESERVATION section of the website (including name, surname, phone number, email, rental date, duration, number and size of lockers, and payment details).
• – Accept the terms and conditions of service and use.
• – Accept LOCKER IN THE CORNER ’s privacy policy as the locker service provider.LOCKER IN THE CORNER.

LOCKER IN THE CORNER provides smart lockers, meaning the entire booking and usage process is automated.

Booking Process
– Users can make a reservation at: https//www.lockerinthecorner.com/ by entering personal details, locker quantity and size, and desired dates.
– Payment is made securely via credit/debit card or PayPal.
– The user receives a confirmation email with: Reservation details, number of lockers booked, and access code to the premises and locker(s).
Reservation changes or cancellations: Modifications or cancellations can be made at least 48 hours prior to the start of the rental period by writing to info@lockerinthecorner.com. Cancellation fee: €1.00

Reservation details
When booking, the customer must enter all personal details truthfully and completely.
These details will be used solely to manage the reservation.
LOCKER IN THE CORNER.

User obligations

• – Lockers are intended as a temporary storage space for personal belongings.
• – The user must use the lockers correctly, without causing damage, and must maintain the overall integrity of the premises.
• – The user agrees to use the lockers only for legal and authorized purposes. It is strictly forbidden to store illegal items such as stolen goods, drugs, flammable materials, etc.
  – It is also forbidden to store animals or any living beings.
• – If any stored item requires a special license or permit, the user must possess such documentation.
• – Do not store food or drink unless properly sealed. Do not store money, jewelry, electronic devices (tablets, laptops, TVs, etc.) or high-value items. The user is solely responsible if they decide to do so.
• – All items must be removed before the rental period ends.
• – Lockers must be left in the same condition they were found.
• – Any issues with the lockers must be reported to LOCKER IN THE CORNER to info@lockerinthecorner.com.
• – Do not share your locker code with others. You are responsible for any breaches resulting from such actions.
• – Lockers may not be used to exchange goods with third parties.
• – Do not stay on the premises longer than necessary to access your locker.
• – Do not take photos or record the security mechanisms.
• – Check the size and weight of your luggage before booking. No refunds will be issued if your items exceed the locker size or the 40 kg limit.
• – Do not forcefully shut the locker door. Make sure items fit comfortably within the defined dimensions.

USER LIABILITY
Non-compliance with the rental term
-If the rental period is exceeded, LOCKER IN THE CORNER may empty the locker to manage the return of belongings.
– If 7 days pass after the end of the rental period without user contact, items will be considered abandoned and LOCKER IN THE CORNER may dispose of them as it sees fit.
– A fee equal to the daily locker price will be charged for each overdue day, plus a penalty of €100, regardless of any other compensation LOCKER IN THE CORNER may claim.
– If the user is contacted and their items returned, a penalty of €100 applies. Responsibility transfers to the user once items are handed to the courier.

– LOCKER IN THE CORNER reserves the right to remove any unauthorized or illegal items. Police may be contacted, and the user may face legal action.
– The user is responsible for any prohibited items stored.
A €150 penalty applies in such cases, without prejudice to further damages.
– If the locker door becomes blocked due to oversized contents, assistance will be provided. The cost may range from €5 to €50 depending on the intervention required.

Penalty payments
Penalties must be paid using the same method used for the original booking or by bank transfer if requested.
The user expressly authorizes LOCKER IN THE CORNER to charge these amounts to the provided payment method.

DAMAGE TO LOCKERS
The user is fully liable for any damage caused by misuse of the lockers LOCKER IN THE CORNER.
– Compensation will include repair or replacement costs and lost business income.
– Replacement of a locker module: €1,500. Replacement of a locker door: €700. Final amounts may vary based on real damage.

LOCKER IN THE CORNER OBLIGATIONS
LOCKER IN THE CORNER is committed to keeping the locker service active and providing the lockers in good condition for the duration of the rental period.
LOCKER IN THE CORNER will also resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
LOCKER IN THE CORNER offers a locker rental service and is not responsible for the custody of the users’ belongings. The client is solely responsible for the items placed in the rented lockers.

In the event of theft, loss, or damage to the stored items for any reason, the User must file a report with the competent authorities.

LOCKER IN THE CORNER provides 24-hour video surveillance, 365 days a year, which the User expressly accepts. Therefore, if the competent authorities require the said recordings, they will be promptly provided by LOCKER IN THE CORNER.
